Here at CloudyGroup we believe in investing in the future of digital services and passing on our knowledge and expertise. With many of our own team coming from apprenticeships themselves, we are passionate about training young people and developing their passion for digital solutions, IT, telecommunications and creative media.

We also feel passionate about working with our local community to engage young people with our industry. From clubs and workshops in schools and hosting work experience students, we are always really happy to meet young people with a creative flair for technology. Every member of the CloudyGroup team takes their role as an industry ambassador seriously, and we feel so privileged to be represent a young and dynamic company.

CloudyGroup are excited to be heading up a flagship schools-based programme in conjunction with TechnoVisual Education and Bucks & Thames Valley Local Enterprise Partnership. The first run of the programme, which will take place in July at the Mandeville School in Aylesbury, will give Year 10 students the opportunity to learn IT, Marketing and Development skills over a three-day challenge.

We have tailored the programme to fit around the curriculum requirements of the school, and we’re really excited to be bringing in partners from Microsoft’s Education department. Based around the TV programme, The Apprentice, the challenge will give the students the chance to work in small groups to launch an app that will be designed to contribute towards the life of the school.

Here at Cloudy we feel privileged to be a part of such an exciting programme and will be looking to roll this out to other schools in the future. It’s such a great way to get young people engaged in the digital solutions world, and to be hands-on in passing on our skills and knowledge to the next generation of IT experts, marketers and project managers.
